Professional Profile
Tao Zhang is a partner of YZ Law Group LLP, based in its Chicago Office. Ms. Zhang focuses her practice exclusively on U.S. immigration and nationality law, with extensive experience in employment-based immigration including National Interest Waiver, Outstanding Professor/Researcher, Alien of Extraordinary ability, PERM, Multinational executives/managers, Investment Immigration, etc. She has also successfully handled many non-immigrant visa petitions including H, L, O, K, E, F, as well as family-based immigration and naturalization.
Ms. Zhang has represented foreign nationals from more than 20 countries in their non-immigrant and immigrant petitions. Her clients come from nearly 100 universities, research institutes, and national laboratories across the United States. Ms. Zhang has also represented more than 50 large and small private companies in their immigrant and non-immigrant petitions for their employees. Before joining YZ Law Group LLP, Ms. Zhang practiced as a solo immigration practitioner in Chicago. She also practiced immigration law in major law firms in Washington D.C. and Chicago. Prior to her practice in the U.S., Ms. Zhang worked at a couple of prestigious law firms in Beijing, China practicing in the field of commercial litigation/arbitration, international business transactions, and corporate law. With legal training in both U.S. and China, Ms. Zhang is committed to providing her clients with the most efficient and quality service. As an immigrant to the U.S., she takes a personal interest in all the cases she handles and is passionate about helping individuals to realize their American dreams.
